Curt Hennig, known as "Mr. Perfect," was a professional wrestler renowned for his exceptional in-ring skills and charismatic persona. Born March 28, 1958, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, he was the son of wrestler Larry "The Axe" Hennig.
Hennig excelled in the American Wrestling Association (AWA) in the 1980s, capturing the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. He joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1988, debuting as Mr. Perfect. His gimmick revolved around portraying a flawlessly skilled athlete, capable of mastering any task with ease, often demonstrated in pre-taped vignettes.
As Mr. Perfect, Hennig won the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice and engaged in memorable feuds with wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart. He later wrestled for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Curt Hennig was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, posthumously. He tragically passed away on February 10, 2003, leaving behind a legacy as one of wrestling's most gifted performers.
